Expression of Interest: Community Vaccination Education & Engagement Grants

This Expression of Interest (EOI) is for the provision of the Community Vaccination Education and Engagement Grants across the Central and Eastern Sydney PHN (CESPHN) region.

 

The Community Vaccination Education and Engagement grants aim to expand awareness and understanding of the importance of vaccination in vulnerable communities. The aim is to build the capacity of community organisations to equip their communities with the necessary knowledge to make an informed decision about vaccination. 


Eligibility


Applications are open to community organisations operating within the CESPHN region. Organisations must demonstrate capacity to:

  • Engage effectively with target population/s.

  • Deliver education and engagement initiatives to increase vaccination uptake.

  • Collaborate with local services and leaders to extend reach within their community networks.

Funding

  • Three grants of $75,000 each are available.

  • Funding is intended to cover costs associated with planning, delivering and evaluating community-led immunisation initiatives.

  • Certificate of Currency for your Public Liability Insurance

  • Certificate of Currency for your Professional Indemnity Insurance

  • Certificate of Currency for Cyber Liability Insurance

  • Certificate of Currency for organisation Workers Compensation Insurance

  • Evidence of legal entity status of your organisation

  • Attachment B (Financial Submission)

Timeline

18 December 2025: EOI released

2 February 2026: Deadline for questions from potential applicants

5 February 2026: Deadline for CESPHN to respond to questions

9 February 2026: Deadline for EOI application submission

10 February - 17 February 2026: Applications evaluated

17 February - 3 March 2026: Clarification/negotiations with preferred provider(s)

3 March 2026: Contracts awarded

Any clarification questions should be emailed to immunisation@cesphn.com.au. All questions and answers will be posted on the CESPHN website. Applicants are encouraged to review these before submitting.

Your responses may be used to inform the CESPHN program to which it relates to, and may be used for reporting, planning, or promotion of the related program. All responses will be treated as confidential. No personally identifying information from your responses will be released. 


CESPHN will manage your data in line with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW)

5. Applicant Contact Details

The principal contact person is the person who is legally authorised to enter into contracts on behalf of your organisation. The principal contact person must complete the declaration at the end of this

application and will be required to sign a Services Agreement for the Provision of Funding if your

application is successful.










The project contact person is the person who will be involved in leading the project/service enhancement and would generally be the manager or project manager of the applicant or implementing organisation.

Any such commitment, arrangement or understanding will be the subject of further negotiation and documentation, including an agreement for the provision of funding. Additional specific conditions may be included in future agreements. 

  • I acknowledge, understanding, and accept that incomplete applications may not be considered.

  • If and where any personal details of a third party are included, the third party has been made aware of and given their permission for those details to appear in this application.
