CESPHN Urgent Care Clinics General Practitioner Survey


We invite you to participate in a brief survey assessing General Practitioners’ views on urgent care clinics and their impact on local general practices.


This survey will take approximately 5-10 minutes.


By participating, you consent to your responses being used for quality improvement purposes. All data will remain anonymous and confidential. CESPHN will manage your data in line with our Privacy Policy, which complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW). 


Your participation will help us better understand the role of urgent care clinics and guide future improvements.


The primary objectives of this survey are to: 

  • Obtain GP’s perspectives on the role and effectiveness of urgent care clinics. 
  • Assess the impact of urgent care clinics on local general practices.
  • Inform potential areas for quality improvement in the integration of urgent care clinics with primary care services.


Urgent care refers to medical services that provide timely care for acute illnesses, injuries, and conditions that are low acuity and non-life threatening. These clinics offer extended after-hours services, including evenings and weekends, to bridge the gap between primary care and emergency services.
