Accessibility to vaccination services is crucial to improving immunisation coverage rates in our region, however not all members of our community can access these services easily.

To address this service gap, CESPHN is collating a list of pharmacies who are currently providing off-site vaccination to those in residential aged care homes, disability group homes and home vaccination services to those who are house-bound. 

Organisations and community members who require this service will be referred to contact local pharmacies who offer these services.

1 July 2025 program changes

• The COVID-19 Vaccination in Community Pharmacy (CVCP) program offers approved service providers $20.05 per COVID-19 vaccination given. Further information can be found in the CVCP program rules.

• The National Immunisation Program Vaccinations in Pharmacy (NIPVIP) offers participating pharmacies $20.05 per NIP vaccination given (NIPVIP does not include house-bound patients). Further information can be found in the NIPVIP program rules.

• Pharmacies can also charge privately for off-site vaccinations if they choose not to claim via either VVCP or NIPVIP.
